Battery Repair Policy – eScooter Care

At eScooter Care, operated by Gitika Electric Scooty, Rohtak, Haryana, we are committed to providing top-notch battery repair services for your electric scooters. This Battery Repair Policy outlines the terms for our diagnostic and repair services to ensure a smooth and transparent experience.

1. Battery Diagnostic Service

To assess the condition of your electric scooter battery, we offer a comprehensive diagnostic service. A non-refundable advance payment of INR 500 is required to book a diagnostic slot. This fee covers the initial inspection and testing of your battery to identify issues.

2. Battery Repair Process

If you choose to proceed with battery repair services through eScooter Care after the diagnostic, the INR 500 advance payment will be credited toward your final repair bill. The final bill will include costs for labor, replacement parts (if needed), and any additional services, as discussed with you post-diagnosis.

3. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their battery repair slot at any time before the repair process begins. However, the INR 500 advance payment for the diagnostic service is non-refundable, regardless of cancellation, as it covers the cost of scheduling and initial assessment preparations.

4. Repair Authorization

Post-diagnosis, we will provide a detailed report and cost estimate for the battery repair. Repairs will only commence upon your explicit approval. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, the INR 500 diagnostic fee remains non-refundable, and no additional charges will be applied.

5. Warranty on Repairs

Battery repairs performed by eScooter Care come with a 6-month warranty covering workmanship and any replacement parts used (e.g., cells, connectors). This warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications. Contact us at support@escootercare.com for warranty claims.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the scooter model and battery type during booking.
  • Ensuring the battery is safely delivered to our Rohtak, Haryana facility or arranging for pickup, if applicable.
  • Following safety guidelines provided with repair kits or post-repair instructions to maintain battery performance.

7. Shipping for Battery Repairs

If you send your battery to our Rohtak, Haryana facility for diagnostics or repairs, shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend using secure packaging to prevent damage during transit. eScooter Care is not liable for batteries damaged during shipping. Return shipping costs for repaired batteries will be included in the final bill, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Limitations of Liability

eScooter Care and Gitika Electric Scooty are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from battery diagnostics or repairs, including issues caused by improper handling or use post-repair. We recommend professional assistance for complex repairs to ensure safety.

9. Modifications to Policy

We reserve the right to update this Battery Repair Playa Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
