At eScooter Care, operated by Gitika Electric Scooty, Rohtak, Haryana, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our electric scooters, spare parts, and battery repair services. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms for returning products and requesting refunds.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return electric scooters, spare parts (e.g., motors, controllers, brake pads, tires), or battery repair kits within 7 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Items are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  • Items are in resalable condition with all accessories and documentation included.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is provided.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Used or damaged products due to customer mishandling.
  • Battery repair services or diagnostic fees (INR 500 advance payment, as per our Battery Repair Policy).
  • Customized or modified spare parts or scooters.
  • Products without original packaging or proof of purchase.

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  • Contact our support team at support@escootercare.com within 7 days of delivery, providing your order number and reason for return.
  • Receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions from our team.
  • Securely package the item(s) and ship them to our facility at Gitika Electric Scooty, Rohtak, Haryana, including the RA number. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

4. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
  • The refund amount will include the product cost, excluding original shipping fees.
  • For defective products, we will cover return shipping costs and issue a full refund or replacement, subject to inspection.

If the INR 500 diagnostic fee was paid for battery repair services and you proceed with the repair, this amount will be credited to your final bill, as per our Battery Repair Policy. If you cancel the repair, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable.

5. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect product (e.g., wrong spare part or damaged scooter), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@escootercare.com. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, including return shipping costs, upon verification.

6. Warranty Returns

Products covered under our warranty (1-year for scooters, 6-months for batteries and spare parts) may be returned for repair or replacement if they exhibit manufacturing defects. Please refer to our warranty terms and contact support@escootercare.com for assistance.

7. Cancellation of Orders

Orders can be canceled before dispatch by contacting support@escootercare.com. If the order has not been shipped, a full refund will be issued within 10 business days. Once dispatched, the order falls under our return policy. Battery repair slot cancellations follow the Battery Repair Policy, where the INR 500 diagnostic fee is non-refundable.

8. Limitations of Liability

eScooter Care and Gitika Electric Scooty are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the return or refund process. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product or service.

9. Modifications to Policy

We reserve the right to update this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
